Cassie Herther, MT, Owner
(she/her) Cassie has been honing the craft of bodywork to heal the mind and body since 2015. With nearly a decade of hands-on experience, she has become dedicated to helping clients restore balance and live without pain.
Her approach is rooted in both science and compassion. Holding a degree in psychology with a minor in kinesiology, she combines her understanding of the mind-body connection to provide truly individualized care.
Cassie specializes in Craniosacral, Myofascial Release, TMJ therapy, Cupping, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Abdominal Wellness / Maya Abdominal and Lymphatic drainage. Cassie has extensive experience with relieving chronic migraine & TMJ issues, releasing neck & shoulder tension, sacral and hip flexor joints with stretching and preventative care.
Wanting to become a MT was always in the plan. She has been a healer since childhood, by concocting “magical” stews with dirt and rocks and claiming she was a wizard at the healing arts. Massage therapy is her vocation and she is honored to own a space that allows her and other’s to do so.
In her off time you can find Cassie submerged in the arts with writing poetry books, traveling to different countries, and taking cooking classes to make meals her picky toddler won’t eat.

Kára Avalos MT
(She/Her/They/Them)
Kára's journey as a healer started when she was 13 and was introduced to the fascinating world of reiki, sound bowl healing and other holistic healing methods. It wasn't until she found Carlson College of Massage Therapy in Anamosa Iowa that she found her passion and natural talent for massage therapy.
She graduated with 600+ hours of education and hands-on training in Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, hot stone, cupping, nerve gliding, sports massage, chair massage, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation(PNF stretching), lymphatic manipulation, aromatherapy, warm bamboo and reiki. Her massages are a mixture of relaxation and clinical that have been described as incredibly intuitive, exceptionally relaxing and exceedingly therapeutic.
Kára naturally has the ability to create a tranquil, welcoming environment and she strives to ensure that every person who comes to her feels heard, seen and that they can be their authentic self. As someone who is a non binary trans femme individual she understands why that is important especially in healthcare environments.
Outside of the wellness walls Kára is spending time with her husband and cats, going on nature walks, practicing yoga, creating crystal jewelry and sun catchers, enjoying live music, dancing, going to farmers markets, playing video games, crocheting and performing in drag shows all over the midwest.
